Nostalgia Festival

Before kicking off, we just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has in some way connected with Winefolk. We've had an absolute blast this past year and we're so grateful for all the support we have received. The places we've visited and the wines we've tasted this year have been pretty fooking incredible to boot.

It is so great to be back in Christchurch now after a whirlwind North American adventure. AND to be lucky enough to be surrounded by an amazing group of creatives who are driven by the same goal as us: creating new ways to bring people together.

This coming February we are proud to be part of NOSTALGIA FESTIVAL, an event that is quite literally the product of collaboration.

It is an event that doesn't just appeal to one demographic or focus on one particular element like the beer, music or wine. Instead, the event integrates everything that is local, tasty and entertaining.  We're tickled to be asked to add one tasty element to the event.

If you haven't heard of Nostalgia, it's a daylong festival that celebrates a growing list of Christchurch’s best creative and culinary heroes, as well as providing a platform for emerging artists and entrepreneurs within the replica 1900’s township at Ferrymead Heritage Park.

The festival is in its third year and, on February 20, 2016, will headline New Zealand’s favourite badass indie rock band: The Phoenix Foundation

Nostalgia’s creator and director, Johnny Gibson (28), who developed the event from the ground up from just an idea, said he set out this year to establish more collaboration between the hosts (acting as stallholders) to create an integrated festival experience.

This year Winefolk is working with the food stalls to create food and wine matches which we hope will bend some conventional ideas about what goes with what.

We can't wait to see you there! Tickets and information available from
